Yadir Molina has copied Albert Pujol in an amazing way

The St. Louis Cardinals are really confirming that they will roll out some players from their position to get some representation in the mound.

First Albert Pujols.

Now, Yadir Molina.

The Cardinals have decided to give Molina an innings to rest manager Oliver Marmal Bullpen, well ahead of the Pittsburgh Pirates, in Sunday afternoon’s game at PNC Park.

Unlike Pujoulos’ outing, it wasn’t exactly a smooth sailing, but Molina finished the game for St. Louis.

In fact, their pitching lines were almost identical, and Athletic’s Katie Woo posted a tweet comparing their pitching lines, calling it a “bff thing.”

Yadi is pushed

Pujol and Molina are obviously best friends and have had a lot together in their careers.

But now, with a fairly pitching performance of her own, Molina could join Pujo in some legendary company.

Like the Pujols, Molina also gave up four runs on two homers in his outing.

But both have a fair share of cardinal history as well as baseball history legends and memorable moments for each of them, which now includes a pitching performance for each of them.

Position players obviously don’t make the best of the pitcher, but when they take the mound, there’s some laughter.

That was when Pujols took the mound against the San Francisco Giants and when Molina made her appearance against the pirates yesterday.

Who knows?

Cardinals can have two-way players.

They will not reach the level of skill that Shohei Ohtani has reached on the mound, but it is never too late to try something new.
