2022 The Minnesota Vikings travel to the NFL’s 13th-easiest timeline against opponents’ 2021 wins and losses, but Dockett’s tail end is not friendly.

The 2021 schedule, at this point in last year’s calendar, looked significantly more formidable than this year. And that’s mainly because Minnesota has nine home games, seven road games and a neutral site showdown in Europe in 2022 with the Saints.
For better or for worse, the Vikings’ final two games are hellish – the two bitter rivals of the organization on the street.
Since 2010, the Vikings have been 7-16-2 (.320) at Lambeau Field and Soldier Field. For an otherwise strong franchise in the Vikings, winning one of the three trials at those venues is a bad habit.
The 7-16-2 record is thanks to three of former head coaches, Brad Childress, Leslie Frazier and Mike Zimmer. Now, though, Minnesota has hired Kevin O’Connell from the Los Angeles Rams to encourage the team from the recent moderation. The Vikings were considered a defensive force from 2015 to 2019, but after that, Zimmer’s defense expired and the team accordingly settled for a 15-18 record in the last two seasons.
Insert O’Connell – who could finish his first voyage on the road to a place where the Vikings historically fought.
Thanks to O’Connell, the Vikings have won three of the last four games at that stadium. And a loss occurred in January when quarterback Kirk missed out on coronavirus competition with cousin packers. So, of late, the Vikings have made an upward trend in this regard.
Still, Minnesota will tread through hell – especially if it’s in the playoffs – to end the 2022 campaign.
Plus, the road twosome is unprecedented. The Vikings did not end a season with back-to-back road games against the Packers and the Bears.
A new era, really.
