Trevor Story of the Boston Red Sox has had a rough season so far.
Fairly, he signed late and as a result, was always behind his teammates, so it was natural that it took a little longer than usual to find his rhythm.
The crowd at Fenway Park had started yelling at him a few days ago.
But finally his big night cut on Thursday.
The Red Sox’s 12-6 win over the Seattle Mariners was followed by Story 4-for-4 with three home runs, five runs and seven RBIs.
He also stole a foundation of general story fashion: he has been a major power-motion threat in the game since his MLB debut with the Colorado Rockies.
An incredible day on the plate
It’s a flamboyant offensive performance that actually puts him in some pretty exclusive company.
“Trevor Story has become the third player since 1901 to hit at least three homers, score at least five runs and have a steal in the same game. He joined oMLBRandomStats with Yoenis Cespedes in 2015 and Eric Davis in 1986, ”tweeted MLB insider Bob Nightingale.

It takes some skill to hit three home runs in a game, let alone five runs.
Adding a stealth base is the cherry on top.
The Red Sox hopefully this is the game story that will eventually go to 2022.
Now, he’s hitting .230 / .317 / .413 with five homers and a .730 OPS.
These numbers will start to grow in a hurry.
He is keen to prove that he can find consistent success from the heater-friendly coors field, and the first few weeks of 2022 were rough and hard to see, he seems to be increasing the trend.
It was about time.
