The Minnesota Vikings have beaten the New Orleans Saints twice in three play-off tournaments from 2017 to 2019, the last serious hurricane for Shaun Payton’s team led by Drew Bryce.

Although the Vikings haven’t posted a winning record on the regular-season calendar since December 29, 2019 – yes, 875 days ago – their play-off win drought isn’t surprisingly as dry as some other franchises.

These are notable teams that currently have a longer play-off win drought than the Vikings.

New England Patriots

Last playoff win = 2018 season

Of course, the Patriots have six world titles to their name, and that reigns supreme over everything the Vikings have done. Still, they failed to win the play-off trust from the Super Bowl LIII against the Los Angeles Rams.

And that was in the 2018 season.

New England suffered a shock defeat to the Tennessee Titans in the 2019 post-season tournament, pushing Tom Brady into free agency where he would land with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

If the Patriots can’t win a play-off game with Mac Jones and friends in 2022, the drought will extend into four seasons – unimaginable Patriotic path.

Pittsburgh Steelers

It’s a dirty little secret; The Steelers have not won a playoff game in five seasons. But no one cares because they have Steeler And a bit perfect.

In fact, Mike Tomlin never encourages losing the season, but of late, he owns a Mike Zimmer-Itis where his squad has never been. Bad – But not great.

Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas won a post-season game the year before the Vikings last played, beating the Seattle Seahawks. Jerry World In the 2018 season.

But the Cowboys – like the Vikings – have monsters after the season to deal with Dallas has not reached the NFC Championship since 1995. For Vikings-history, this was Warren Moon’s second season in purple.

The Cowboys always find a way to get excited during the regular season and then get frustrated in January. They didn’t get used to it in the early 1990’s.

Denver Broncos

Last playoff win = 2015 season

John Leway made a deal with the Devils to win the Super Bowl 50 with an absolutely worn version of Payton Manning.

How do we know that? Okay, since then they haven’t reached the playoffs. The mischief is likely to change in 2022 as Russell Wilson takes charge of a franchise in a fashion like Manning 2012, but Denver is going through a desperate lack of playoffs.

The last time the Broncos won a play-off game – Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were vying for the primary.

And, of course, for the full disclosure, the Vikings have never won a Super Bowl. Most NFL teams have won the Lombardy Trophy. In the Super Bowl era (since 1966), the Vikings held the fifth-best winning percentage in the NFL (.557) but never won a Super Bowl. Of the top 16 franchises with a winning percentage since 1966, Minnesota is the only ball club to have not won a Super Bowl.
