The NBA draft lottery Tuesday night and it could be very good for the New Orleans Pelicans – and very bad for the Los Angeles Lakers.
LA has already done bad enough this year, with their terrific track record that sent packing before the start of their post season.
For the Pelicans, they actually did much better than most people expected and fought their way to the playoffs, where they lost in the first round against the Phoenix Suns.
So why can the draft lottery work wonders for payers?
Because they earned a first-round pick of 2022 from LA when they traded Anthony Davis a few years ago.
Most people do not expect the outcome of the selection to be anything because it can only be held by the Pelicans if the Lakers’ pick lands in the top ten.
But the Lakers have to have a terrible season in 2022 to get into the top ten and it won’t happen, will it?

Because of LA’s troubled years, the Pelicans could pick themselves in the top ten in the 2022 NBA Draft.
To celebrate, the party tweeted a ridiculous signal of support for the LA, wishing them well in Tuesday’s draft.
If the Lakers pick one of the top ten in the draft, it goes to the Pelicans.
It will only make this up and coming team stronger.

The Pelicans have certainly exceeded expectations this year.
Most people didn’t expect them to come close to the playoffs, especially since Zion Williamson was dropped all season.
Instead, the team fought hard and was able to advance to the play-in tournament and then the playoffs.
The first round really showed their skills and impressed the whole league.
They did everything except for Williamson, who is set to return in the fall.
Therefore, the Pelicans may have their current impressive squad, Williamson, And The first round picks when the new season starts.
That sounds absolutely dangerous.
