What an offseason for the Philadelphia Eagles.
They have added Jordan Davis, Cam Jurgens and Nakobe Dean through the 2022 NFL draft.
They also traded for wide receiver AJ Brown and signed Jack Pascal.
By trading with the New Orleans Cents, the Eagles have received more draft capital for next season.
In defense, Philadelphia linebackers Kizier White and Hassan Reddick were also welcomed.
But with their latest move, Eagles Pro Bowl cornerback James Bradbury has signed a one-year, $ 10 million deal.
After his signing, NFL Network national insider Ian Rapoport noted the team’s formidable cornerback pairing.

– Ian Reports (apRapSheet) May 18, 2022
Rapport tweeted, “Darius Slay on one side, James Bradbury on the other” to illustrate the explosiveness of this tandem with three fire emojis.
When both players are at their best, it can be difficult for opposing teams to score, let alone throw deep.
Bradberry is a welcome addition because his team will have to face CD Lamb and Terry McLaren’s two top wide receivers twice.
Their elite secondary could also address wideouts like Michael Pitman Jr., Michael Thomas, Chris Olav, Jarvis Landry, Dionette Johnson and Chase Kleppool who they will face this season.
Why the Bradberry-Slay connection is one of the best in the league
Both players have the ability to cover the other team’s best receivers.
Similarly, since 2016 they have been the only NFL player to have more than 15 interceptions and more than 80 pass deflections.
With Bradberry and Slay on the same team, opposing quarterbacks could find it difficult to hit their target.
Therefore, the Eagles should have a deep play-off run if this tandem is healthy.
In addition to having a strong defensive crew, their offense could improve with Brown, Devanta Smith, Miles Sanders and Jalen Harts.
