The NBA season has officially ended for the Philadelphia 76ers.

On Thursday night, the team fell to the Miami Heat, 99-90, in Game 6.

That means the 76ers are now out of the playoffs after losing a 4-2 series, which is a sad and somewhat surprising conclusion for the season.

Fans of the team have already gone insane and are trying to figure out how to make Philadelphia better and more competitive.

Immediately after Philly’s defeat, James Celtzer jumped on Twitter and made a general claim: “Fire dock reverse. Hire Jay Wright. “

The idea of letting Rivers go and signing the former Villanova University coach is not new, but it is gaining much support after the 76ers left the post-season.

Dock’s day is over?

Rivers was brought in as head coach of the 76ers in October 2020.

Since then, the results have been consistently mixed.

The team was knocked out of the semifinals last year by the Atlanta Hawks.

This year, it was the heat that sealed their fate.

In both seasons, fans were keen and sure their team had at least what it took to get to the Eastern Finals.

And in both seasons, those same fans have left disappointed.

While the roster certainly needs some changes (James Harden is disappointing to many), Rivers is largely to blame for the team’s poor performance.

With a player like Joel MBD, there are plenty of people who think the 76ers should do a lot better than them.

Rivers is now rumored to have been sacked for several months, with speculation that he may join the Los Angeles Lakers or another NBA team.

The next few months could be very exciting for the 76ers.
