The New Orleans Saints reloaded after missing last season’s playoffs.

They drafted Chris Olav in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft and signed a one-year deal with Jarvis Landry.

New Orleans will also get Michael Thomas back after missing their entire 2021 campaign.

Add Elvin Camara back to the mix in the versatile race and they have an explosive unit that can quickly score points.

In defense, the Saints added Marcus Maye, Daniel Sorensen and All-Pro security Tyrone Matthews.

These players will strengthen their secondary, which already includes CJ Gardner-Johnson, Paulson Adebo and Pro Bowl cornerback Marson Latimore.

They have linebacker Demario Davis with 70 single tackles and defensive end Marcus Davenport with nine sacks.

Leading the way is Edge Rasha’s Cameron Jordan, who had 12.5 sacks and 38 singles tackles last season.

Seeing how their list has greatly improved in the offseason, the former Cal Standout is already making a bold prediction for the coming year.

Jordan tweeted, “Saints Today Bound February 2023 Tell Emma Now.”

His thoughts refer to the Super Bowl LVII, which will take place on February 12, 2023 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Although that venue is the Arizona Cardinals’ home turf, Jordan believes they will represent the NFC in the big game.

The difficult road ahead for the saints

For Jordan’s statement to be true, the Saints must make sure that James Winston is back in shape.

Otherwise, it will be difficult to win the league without a steady quarterback.

Similarly, they should beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers not only in the regular season, but also in the playoffs.

The Saints lost their last play-off game against Tampa Bay, which was also Drew Bryce’s final NFL game.

There are also Green Bay Packers who still have Aaron Rogers.

New Orleans should also have the answer for the Los Angeles Rams defense, which includes Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsay and newly added linebacker Bobby Wagner.
