Since leaving the Minnesota Vikings in January, former general manager Rick Spielman has really lost his hair.

He has joined numerous shows and podcasts, softly referring to some bitter Vikings relationship towards the end of his term. Some of the Vikings draft and such time Spielman explained “why he did what he did”. And then, during the lead-up to the 2022 NFL Draft, Spielman caught quarterback owner Willis, who was drafted in the 3rd round by the Tennessee Titans.

Spielman even made a TikTok video about Willis’ scouting report, which appeared to be in someone’s garage or storage facility.

Well, the tick-tock dubbings weren’t just reserved for football-themed subjects. On Monday, Spielman appeared to post a video of her dancing moves.

Spielman’s complete TikTok profile can be experienced here.

The Vikings hired Spielman shortly after the 2006 NFL draft, an executive partnership with the then-new Brad Childres regime. The Childdress lasted 4.5 seasons with the Vikings, taking the team to the 2009 NFC Championship. After that, Spielman hired Leslie Fraser for a few years and most recently head coach Mike Zimmer in 2014.

Minnesota has made high-flying counterparts in the Spielman watch, including Adrian Peterson, Harrison Smith, Justin Jefferson, Stephen Diggs, Everson Griffin, Eric Kendricks, Anthony Barr, Dalvin Cook, and Adam Thilen (UDFA). There were also some stickers with Christian Ponder, Lacon Treadwell and Matt Call.

The Vikings have settled for moderation over the last two seasons, achieving a 15-18 record from 2020 to 2021. And those seasons were billed as “all-in” with a super-bowl-or-bust steak, so Spielman didn’t last long in the GM and coaching carousel of the year. Spielman’s successor, Minnesota, has hired Quesse Adofo-Mensah from the Cleveland Browns – who tapped Kevin O’Connell, the Los Angeles Rams offensive coordinator, for the coaching job.

Spielman was reportedly interviewed in March for the vacant Pittsburgh Steelers general manager job.

Whatever the landing of Steelers Gig, the TikTok aspect of its business profile is new, as fans see a different side of the 59-year-old.
