Vikings TerritoryOf Purple rumor mill A two-day chronicle every week. Rumors spread throughout the week on Saturday and Sunday articles in two spots – for review. Today is the 22nd May edition.
Remember – rumors are Rumors. What you read in these pieces over the weekend is that the world is talking about the Vikings, not necessarily items that will be fruitful.
Rumors: Kirk Cousins is actually predicted to be the MVP candidate in 2022.

This rumor (or gossip) came from a person – Mr. Kyle Brandt.
From Brandt NFL Network Cousins have been tapped by his MVP as the Dark Horse. Why? Because the Cousins may have adequate pass protection for the first time since 2017 – and then he has given Kevin O’Connell his strengths, not a defensive-first coach to be bothered by his mere presence and contract.
Next, look at the well, depth chart. If cousins can’t tick his side on the field with Justin Jefferson, Adam Thilen, Dalvin Cook, Arv Smith Jr., and KJ Osborne – plus O’Connell’s tutorial – then he’s not really a super bowl-caliber quarterback.
Brandt chose cousins for the Dark-Horse role because of the potential.
Rumors: Sheldon Richardson will land with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It comes from Greg Aumann, who wrote about the Buchananians Athletic.
Richardson is hitting the “age” where men chase championships year after year, so signing with Tampa Bay wouldn’t be uncomfortable for him.
In fact, it would be a smart fit for all teams. We are on board with the Richardson-to-Buccaneers argument.
Rumors: Ed Ingram will win the initial RG job.

In today’s rumor mill session, there is the best chance to implement it.
2nd-round offensive linemen, especially internal variations, usually start at the gate. If Ingram doesn’t, it will be a very Viking syndrome.
Ingram should be considered a favorite among Vikings fans to start in RG in September. This rumor is credible and is proved by various depth-chart estimates Bleacher Report And NFL.com.
