The Cincinnati Bengals’ Ja’mar Chase is avoiding the heels of Minnesota Vikings wideout Justin Jefferson to produce a player early in his career.

Jefferson set the NFL rookie record for yardage in 2020, which was immediately bestowed by Jefferson’s teammate Chase at LSU in 2021. But Jefferson has so far maintained Chase as “the most earned yard in the first two years of a player’s career.” 2022 begins its second season.

And according to oddsmakers, Jefferson will be at the forefront of high receiving-yard speeds. Per Fan Dual, Jefferson and Cooper Coop of the Los Angeles Rams top the list of most receiving yards in 2022. Jefferson and Cup Metric share a +900 maniline to lead the NFL.

Jefferson achieved the astronomical calculation of the yardage of receipt in Mike Zimmer-led crime. In 2020 and 2021, the Vikings reluctantly advertised run-first offenses, so Jefferson’s achievement is even more admirable.

But Zimmerman’s era ended on January 10, when former coach and his boss, Rick Spielman, was fired for leading the Minnesota youth. General Manager Quesi Adofo-Mensah and head coach Kevin O’Connell are now leading the enterprise.

O’Connell’s addition should be music to Jefferson’s ears. He’s from Shawn McVeigh’s Coaching Tree, a great topiary of late. Jack Taylor (Bengal), Matt Laughleur (Packers), and Brandon Staley (Chargers) all come from the McVeigh Gridiron clan. So if not O’Connell One The guy who gets shaky, Jefferson and the Vikings should be in good shape.

Also, Minnesota will no longer rest on its run-first reputation. In 2021, Rams certainly did not. And it’s unlikely that O’Connell will return to “Run-First” with weapons like Cork Cousins, Adam Thilen, Arv Smith Jr., KJ Osborne, and of course Jefferson. On the list

Jefferson, 22, is already being credited as the league’s top wide receiver.

The couple compliments the head coach with a new offensive mindset, a quarterback who sling 4,000+ yards per season like clockwork, and Jefferson’s natural mature progress – and he, along with Cooper Coop, is the Odsmaker’s choice to lead the business in taking yards.
