The Baltimore Orioles did not have a complete train wreck this year, as many of us had hoped.
However, they could not be a good team.
The last few years have been rough over the Beltway area.
It’s been 2016 since they made it to the post season.
However, there is an Orioles fan who sees something a little different with this year’s club.
No, they don’t think they’re a good team, but they’ve tweeted that they’ve made some progress over the last few years, saying they’re at least a fun team to watch, in contrast to being bad and not fun to watch.
I’m officially calling Orioles “fun but not good.” This is an upgrade from “Knot Fun and Not Good” which has been their title for the past few years.

“Fun but not good”
Hey, at least something is going for them.
Fans have at least one reason to get excited.
Better a poor horse than no horse at all.
It’s still not a good team by any stretch of the imagination.
But the worst thing about a team can be if they are boring and not fun to watch.
So, maybe Orioles fans can take this new title given to their team by one of their fellow fans.
It’s definitely a step up from the last few years.
One step at a time.
Maybe one of these days, they will be fun and good.
But it’s easy to see why fans are a little more excited.
Going with Ryan Mountcastle, Cedric Mullins, Anthony Santander, and Trey Mancini with the Big-League club to take on top prospect Adele Rutsman creates little excitement.
Again, this is better than being bad and annoying.
