Prior to the start of the 2022 regular season, Judge Aaron and the New York Yankees were in talks to extend a contract, with the judge giving the Yankees a deadline of the opening day to reach an agreement.
That deadline has not been met, and the two sides have not yet reached an agreement.
Now, it looks like the judge is going to test the free agent market after the season.
But the judge only bet on himself whether he could perform to the best of his ability and possibly get the best offer.

The day of judgment has come
If you just look at the statistics, you will see that the judge’s decision was correct.
He’s in motion for a crazy finish, as noted by Olney.
He seems healthy and confident and performing to the best of his ability, which is what we saw in his 2017 Rocky campaign.
If he maintains this, he is sure to receive several lucrative offers from interested parties trying to sign him.
The Yankees will be forced to open their pocketbooks if they are healthy and warm to try to keep him, just as any team will try to sign him when it comes time to enter his free agency.
At the end of the season, the judge is sure to gain a ton of interest.
He can finish very well with some numbers that Olney is projecting.
He’s proving what kind of player he can be when he’s healthy and keeping the baseball world on notice.
