Juan Soto of the Washington Nationals is one of the brightest young stars in baseball.
At 23, Slugger is already proving worthy of winning an MVP at some point in his career.
He’s got such a sweet swing and can absolutely crush baseball.
If there’s one player that should be built around the Nationals, it’s him.
However, as reported by ESPN’s Buster Olney, rumors seem to be circulating that Soto could be a trade candidate if the deadline expires.
Per @Buster_ESPNThat is the theory of rival executives # National Juan Soto may be forced to trade this summer.

Soto on the move?
Accessories are going to get interesting in trade deadlines.
Trading Soto means that the Nationals will have a lot of potential from whoever they deal with.
The question is where Soto will go.
Could the Los Angeles Dodgers try to bring in him like Max Scherzer did last season?
Probably.
Are there any teams in the American League that can make a game for him?
Maybe the Toronto Blue Jays would be a good fit.
Interestingly, however, Soto now has rumors that the trade is potentially being tackled within a period of time, especially when it looks like the nationals are going to expand it and build around it.
If they were going to trade him, what did it mean to sign Nelson Cruz?
These are of course rumors and speculation, but it will be interesting to see what happens to Soto after the deadline and whether he will end the transaction.
