Sometimes, if you’re a major league baseball player, it’s easy to tell when you’ve hit home runs.

You can feel that you got it from the bat.

Other times, it’s not so easy to say.

Sometimes it feels like it’s still in the game.

Tampa Bay Ray outfielder Brett Phillips was one of those moments during the team’s game against the Detroit Tigers last night.

He gave the Tigers a 2-1 pitch from starter Alex Fayedo for quite a ride, so much so that it hit Tropicana from the ring just below the closed roof of the field.

It ruled as a home run, but the ball bounced off the field again, causing Phillips to launch the jets and sprint all the way around the base.

Fastest home run?

This may be the funniest home run you’ve ever seen while watching a Major League Baseball game.

Jets were going from Phillips Get-Go, though he hit it so high and so far that it could be a home run.

But it’s easy to see why Phillips could be confused.

Eventually the ball returns to the field.

Anyone will be confused.

But seeing Phillips launch the jet the way he did it was quite a fun and a great moment for baseball fans.

You should at least appreciate the haste.

That’s not lacking with a guy like Phillips.

But there is no lack of humor with him.

He’s a fun guy and has given our fans a fun home run trot that you’ll never see.

It would be great if he could do it on every home run, even without a doubt, just for some humor.
