When hometown product Jarvis Laundry signed with the New Orleans Saints, fans were thrilled.

The former will be the second top receiver on the Saints roster for the LSU standout 2022.

Michael Thomas is that other top receiver.

Talks are underway in Louisiana to make the Super Bowl, in addition to running Alvin Camara, with two clear playmakers in the offense.

However, is the addition of laundry enough to make him a competitor in the Saints Super Bowl?

James Winston And his performance is the key to any Super Bowl hope

When Saints fans sing Laundry’s praises, they forget that they have James Winston in the quarterback, not Drew Bryce.

Although Winston can wind the ball like Bryce, he has problems with the throwing barrier.

However, his first season as a starter in New Orleans saw Tampa Bay improve on those past flaws.

But his season was cut short by an injury that kept him away for the rest of the year.

That injury could play a role in his performance in the 2022 season.

If his quarterback doesn’t get him the ball, he won’t do much.

Another reason is if New Orleans gets the 2021 version of their quarterback or its day version with Tampa Bay.

These laundries are out of hand.

Saints Super Bowl hope is not centered on laundry

Although the Hometown heroes improve the team, he does not compete with their Super Bowl.

However, if he and his quarterback can click early, he improves their chances.

But they still have to fight the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their division and possibly the NFL playoffs.

New Orleans have lost to Tom Brady and the Books in the regular season for the past two years, they have lost to them in the playoffs.

However, the Bucs will not be the only potential play-off opponent that they can face.

They could face the Green Bay Packers, the Los Angeles Rams or even the San Francisco 49ers.

None of these teams will be easy for New Orleans in the playoffs.

Landry makes the New Orleans playoff contenders, but not the Super Bowl contenders

Laundry can easily help the Saints reach the playoffs after missing them last season.

However, to win their Super Bowl on the War Winston and Saints defense.

Laundry is an additional weapon for Winston to use in games.

He’s a receiver who can either take the heat from Thomas or move on for Winston when Thomas stops.

However, the quarterback will have to get the ball to his receiver.

If he can’t perform under the pressure of the playoffs, his passes may not come to his receivers.

The Saints may have the most talented group of receivers in the NFL, but without quarterbacks to get their ball, it doesn’t matter.

Winston will have to prove that 2021 was not a fluke, as his game will determine whether New Orleans are Super Bowl contenders.
