The Indianapolis Colts last week unveiled their 2022 regular-season schedule.

The schedule reveals some interesting and juicy stories for horse shoots this season.

Let’s take a closer look at the three main takeaways from Colts’ 2022 schedule.

3. Indy has a chance to create early-season momentum

The Colts started and ended with a soundtrack last season.

Indy has lost four of its first five games to the Las Vegas Riders at the end of the season and – of all teams – 3-14 before being knocked out and burned by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

As a result, the Colts moved away from a post-season feud with a 9-8 win-loss record.

At this point, Indianapolis has a chance to start the 2022 NFL campaign on a high note – the Colts will face the Houston Texans in Week 1 and the Jaguars in Week 2.

If the Colts somehow lose both games, they will go into 3 and 4 weeks against Patrick Mahoms’ Kansas City Chiefs and their AFC South Division rivals, the Tennessee Titans, with a 0-4 win-loss to start the 2022 campaign. Signs

That should not be the case.

In the first two weeks of the regular season, Indie should not reduce his watch against the Texans and Jaguars, lest he dig a deep hole in just four weeks of the season.

2. Exciting revenge games on tap

Indy has taken revenge on his mind in the 2022 NFL season.

It’s a pay-off for the Colts, who want nothing less than a regular-season sweep of the Jaguars (whom they will face in Weeks 2 and 6) – the team that ended their post-season hopes – in 2022.

For his part, new Washington commander quarterback Carson Wentz wants nothing more than an 8-week win over his old team, the Colts.

The Colts, on the other hand, want some rewards in their old Nemesis, New England Patriots, Week 9.

Indie Gillette has lost by almost 20 points at the stadium since 2006.

The Colts have a good chance to end this dubious streak in the 9th week of this year.

Indy will play against Derek Carr’s Raiders for the second season in a row.

That heartbreaking 23-20 defeat in 17 weeks last season is still shaking – the Colts will have a chance to release them in Las Vegas in 10 weeks.

On a side note, this is a new date that the Colts’ defensive end Yannick Engakou has marked on his calendar.

Ngakoue’s tenure in Las Vegas ended in a bitter note two months ago after the Radars traded Rock Ya-Sin to Rock Ya-Sin for Rock Rock.

When his Colts fight the Raiders in 10 weeks, Engaku has no question of revenge.

1. The Colts must finish their last-season by Xenox

The Colts will have their bi week at 14 weeks for the second season in a row.

It looked like Indy was going to end last season after his bye week.

Alas, the opposite scenario is unfolding.

The Colts will face the Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Chargers, New York Giants and Texans in the final month of the 2022 NFL season.

In 2021, these four teams together averaged six wins.

Of these four teams, only the Chargers have become a real threat, with quarterback Justin Herbert and newly acquired Khalil Mack in the fold.

Here are expected Frank Reich and co. Learned from the painful end in their 2021 season and regained the status of a post-season competitor again.
