The MLB universe was dominated by two stars last week.

One of them is behind the latest Boston Red Sox wave and the other is the Miami Marlins rotation title.

Trevor Story and Sandy Alcantara have earned the respect they deserve for their incredible play, respectively.

Tstory2: 6 HR, 14 RBI, .360 / .452 / 1.120; িয়াল Sandalcanter 22: 2-0, 17 IP, 0.53 ERA, 12 Ks: Presented by the best players of your week Chevrolet! MLB tweeted on Monday afternoon.

After a slow start due to a late signing with the Red Sox, Story is finally showing the talent that earned him $ 140 million in free agency.

Many players don’t even hit six home runs in a season: the story hits them in a week.

The story has finally begun to make for Boston

Looks like the first one came once, the others started coming in groups.

Six Homers and 14 RBIs made for an incredible week.

Alcantara, meanwhile, have won its two starts for the week and styled it with an almost impeccable 0.53 ERA, including 12 strikeouts in 17 innings.

The Marlins have a lot of talented young pitchers, but Alcantara is the best of the bunch: he’s durable, he misses the bat and he keeps the ball on the ground.

This is a good package for success.

The Red Sox ‘second baseman is now hitting .226 / .310 / .438 with seven home runs, after failing to hit consistently for the first few weeks.

Alcantara boasted a 2.11 ERA in 59.2 innings, and comfortably averaged more than six frames per outing.

Hopefully, this is the beginning of a change for the story and some consolidation from Alcantara, which is likely to end up among the league leaders this season in both innings and ERA.
